Peony season is here

Here's what's coming into the studio this month, fresh from Hawke's Bay & New Zealand growers. Order by name, or leave it to us and we'll pick the best of the week.

Hand-tied bouquet of coral pink peonies in kraft paper

A note from the studio

November is all about peonies, and we can't get enough of them. Sweet peas are filling the studio with scent, the first garden roses have arrived, and summer is just around the corner. Come and have a sniff.

Make them last

  1. Recut on arrival

Snip 2cm off each stem on an angle before they go in water. It opens the stems back up so they can drink.

  2. Fresh water, often

Top up daily and change the water completely every two days. Clean water is the biggest thing you can do.

  3. Keep them cool

Away from the fruit bowl, heat pumps and sunny windowsills. A cool spot overnight adds days.
